The aim of this project is to research,
plan and develop a maritime cultural
interpretive pathway strategy for the
region that will link Indigenous and
European cultural sites along the shores
of Princess Royal and Oyster Harbours,
King Georges Sound and eventually other
parts of the south coast. This includes
planned cultural development projects
sites such as the Welcome Walls at the
Western Australian Museum-Albany,
unmarked Indigenous and European
cultural heritage places in and about
King Georges Sound, historic shipwrecks,
and the clearly identifiable Albany Pilot
Station and the Point King Lighthouse.
