Industry Pathways & Clontarf Foundation Great Southern Football Academy with Great Southern TAFE

TAFE

Currently Geat Southern TAFE is running GATE - Gaining a Training Edge - courses in the Boat Shed for students with disabilities.
In 2008 students from the Clontarf Foundation Great Southern Football Academy will be involved in 1 day per week over 32 weeks and will operate out of the Boat Shed. The course Industry Pathways will provide students with basic industrial skills with a maritime slant, they will also receive academic support and work experience on a charter boat the Sail Away as well as learning how to handle smaller craft

Marine Technology with Albany Senior High School

ASHS

The Albany Senior High School delivers a nautical studies program out of the Albany Boat Shed which has Yachting Australia's Training Accreditation. Students are instructed in boat handling, sailing, canoeing and in outboard motor maintenance. They launch their activities from a beach in front of the Shed.
